Job Description

Emergency Department Registered Nurse - Contract We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a contract assignment in a busy, high-acuity emergency setting. The ideal candidate will have experience caring for a diverse patient population, including trauma and critically ill patients.
Position Details:
36-hour weekly guarantee 12-hour night shifts, approximately 7:00 PM-7:30 AM (Days and Evenings also available) Every other weekend and one major holiday required 13-week contract with potential for extension 48-hour contracts may be available Local candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Requirements:
Previous Emergency Department RN experience required Experience in a large Emergency Department or trauma center strongly preferred Recent Epic experience strongly preferred; candidates should be proficient with Epic within the past year BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC required CPI/De-escalation training required Nursing diploma or degree documentation required Must successfully complete an EKG/dysrhythmia exam during orientation
Emergency Department Overview:
High-volume, fast-paced Emergency Department Cares for patients of all ages with a wide range of medical and traumatic conditions Experience with trauma, stroke alerts, STEMIs, motor vehicle accidents, behavioral health patients, and other high-acuity cases Typical RN-to-patient ratio of approximately 1:4-5 Strong interdisciplinary support from ED technicians, unit support staff, and nursing personnel Utilizes a variety of emergency and critical-care equipment, including cardiac monitoring, ventilators, infusion pumps, ultrasound, EKG equipment, and airway management equipment
Pay:
$2,000.00 - $2,182.00 per week
