As a Travel RN specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) nursing, you'll develop advanced clinical skills and gain valuable insights into a wide array of procedural approaches and patient care methodologies. Key Qualifications:
Active and unencumbered RN license Minimum of 2 years recent CVOR nursing experience Current BLS and ACLS certifications Strong assessment, organizational, and critical thinking skills Ability to adapt quickly to changing surgical environments and technologies
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist the surgical team in all phases of cardiovascular operations Prepare, monitor, and care for patients pre-, intra-, and post-operatively Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and patient safety protocols Document care accurately and timely in electronic records Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the broader perioperative team Respond proactively to emergencies and troubleshoot in high-pressure scenarios
