Qualifications:

Active RN license with eligibility to practice Proven experience in stepdown or progressive care settings strongly preferred Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred Proficiency in monitoring telemetry, responding to rapid changes in patient conditions, and using electronic medical records Excellent critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills Ability to collaborate effectively within multi-disciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

Provide continuous assessment and monitoring for patients with complex medical needs transferring from ICU or at risk for deterioration Administer medications, perform treatments, and manage equipment according to physician orders and best practices Document care, changes in patient status, and interventions accurately and promptly in electronic health records Participate in care planning and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other clinical professionals Educate patients and families about care plans and post-discharge instructions Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in rapidly changing clinical scenarios
