Thrive Pediatrics is seeking a part-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our growing independent pediatric primary care practice in Bellevue. PNP preferred, though qualified FNP with strong pediatric experience or training are welcome to apply. We are looking for a clinician who combines strong clinical judgment with genuine warmth and connection with children and families. The ideal provider enjoys working with children across developmental stages and can adapt their communication, body language, and approach from infants and toddlers through adolescents. Our practice emphasizes thoughtful care, longer appointments, strong family education, continuity, and longitudinal relationships rather than high-volume medicine. This role is best suited for someone who is comfortable working independently after a structured onboarding period, values feedback and collaboration, and enjoys being closely involved in patient care and clinic workflow. About the Practice Thrive Pediatrics is a growing, NP-led independent pediatric primary care practice in Bellevue, Washington. We are intentionally building a small, high-quality clinician team with plans for continued growth.
Our model emphasizes:
Longer appointment times Thoughtful, evidence-based clinical decision-making Strong relationships with children and families Preventive and developmental care Clinical autonomy A streamlined, lean practice environment Direct communication and collaboration among providers Our staffing model is intentionally lean and provider-led. We do not use a traditional MA/RN or rooming model for every visit. Providers are expected to participate directly in patient flow, including rooming their own patients, obtaining basic vitals, preparing the exam room, and helping maintain an efficient clinic environment. This model allows for greater continuity, fewer handoffs, and more direct involvement in the patient experience. It is best suited for clinicians who are comfortable being hands-on and do not require a traditional layered support structure to practice effectively. We are not a high-volume pediatric clinic. We prioritize quality, clinical judgment, family education, and a patient experience where children and parents feel comfortable, known, and supported. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric primary care, including: Well-child visits Newborn and infant care Same-day and acute sick visits Developmental and behavioral screening Preventive care and anticipatory guidance Immunizations Evidence-based assessment and treatment planning Referral coordination and follow-up care Longitudinal management of common pediatric conditions Participate in a structured onboarding process and gradual panel ramp-up.
