PeaceHealth is seeking a compassionate and skilled Mother Baby Registered Nurse to join our team in a Full-Time (0.90 FTE), Night Shift position. Competitive pay:

About the Role As a Mother Baby RN, you'll provide professional nursing care to postpartum patients and newborns, partnering closely with families and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure a safe, supportive, and healing environment. What You'll Do Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care Provide compassionate care and education to mothers and newborns Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record Delegate and coordinate care with other healthcare team members Foster positive patient and family experiences through exceptional communication Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and infection prevention initiatives Maintain professional excellence through ongoing education and development What You'll Bring Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Current Registered Nurse (RN) license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire Minimum of one year of acute care Mother Baby experience , including: Postpartum care Newborn care Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Key Skills Strong knowledge of maternal and newborn nursing care Commitment to patient- and family-centered care Exceptional communication and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment Basic computer proficiency Unit-Specific Requirements The following certifications are required within six months of hire: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Electronic Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN EFM) Physical & Work Environment This role requires the ability to safely provide hands-on patient care, including patient handling, mobility assistance, and emergency response activities such as CPR. Caregivers work in a dynamic clinical environment with exposure to biohazards, body fluids, and varying noise levels.
