1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Orthopedics RN with at least 2 years of experience and a WA or compact RN license for a 13-week contract. Details Med/Surg unit caring for acutely ill, convalescing, and chronically ill adult patients Day shift, 12-hour rotating shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm No on-call requirements Uses CPSI/Evident EMR system 13-week contract assignment Requirements Active WA or compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required BLS certification required Additional Information Assess patients and deliver care based on age-specific and diagnosis-specific standards Communicate with providers, charge nurses, and care team members regarding changes in patient condition Supervise LPNs, CNAs, and nursing students as part of care team responsibilities Develop and evaluate patient teaching plans, including family or caregiver education Document patient care according to facility standards and policies Participate in orientation and available in-services Holiday coverage required
