A Cardiology Registered Nurse provides care for patients with heart problems. Performs cardiac tests and assessments, educates patients and families about cardiac disease and preventative health care, and cares for patients after heart surgery. Works with specialized monitoring and treatment equipment. Trained to provide emergency medical care to cardiac patients. Works under the supervision of a physician. Works in hospital cardiology or intensive care units or cardiac rehabilitation programs.

- 10.5 hr days or 12 hr days or nights available 14
- 21 shifts required per month 18
- 20 patients per shift Inpatient cardiology
