Desired Qualifications:

Valid and current RN licensure in Washington state Previous experience in school nursing or pediatric settings is highly valued Ability to confidently manage multiple caseloads and respond promptly to a variety of student health needs Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster positive relationships with students, families, and staff Flexibility to work varying shifts between 6:00 am and 4:00 pm as determined by school schedules Commitment to providing compassionate and culturally responsive care

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to students with acute or chronic health conditions Monitor and assess student health status, responding to emergencies as needed Administer prescribed medications and medical treatments per physician orders and IEP/504 plans Maintain accurate healthcare records and communicate clearly with families and staff Advocate for student well-being and promote health education within the school community Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student safety and inclusivity Enjoy the stability of a guaranteed 25 hours per week while making a significant difference in a school-based setting.
