Health Pros Northwest - Medical Staffing for Corrections, Tribal Wellness and Behavioral Health Facilities Seeking Registered Nurse (RN) to assist full time, dayshift within the local county jail in Oak Harbor This opportunity is ideal for a seasoned nurse looking to add to their career and utilize all of their acquired skills in a population that needs support!
Position Details:
Hours:
7a to 8p. Flexibility available Hiring Immediately Paid Orientations & Facility Trainings Position Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Must be knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the detention unit Must be able to work in a correctional facility environment and treat inmates with respect Effectively document wellness checks and all forms of patient care Accurate and efficient triage & clinical skills Accurate assessment skills
Licensure/Education:
3 years (minimum) required as a credentialed Registered Nurse Urgent care, emergency, and corrections experience will be highly valued BSN preferred Current unencumbered
Washington Registered Nurse License Employment Qualifications:
Current BLS Certification
COVID 19
vaccination required Ability to obtain current Tuberculosis Test and Drug Screen prior to employment Reliable transportation to all scheduled shifts
