Youll play a crucial role in providing essential healthcare services to students with mild to moderate disabilities.

Key Qualifications:

Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing required Valid Washington RN license required Previous school nursing experience is a plus, but not required WA ESA certification preferred but not required

COVID-19

vaccination required Pediatric or school-age experience highly valued

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and oversee healthcare plans for elementary school students Provide daily nursing care in the schools health room Support students with mild to moderate disabilities Maintain accurate health records and documentation Serve as an essential medical resource for staff, students, and families No bus duty; focus entirely on supporting student health within the building Collaborate with educators, families, and community providers as needed

Schedule & Details:

Contract runs from September 1, 2022, through June 15, 2023 5 days a week, totaling 37.5 hours per week Work hours: 7:30 AM3:00 PM or 8:00 AM3:30 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch Manage the health needs of an average-sized caseload at one elementary school location This is a rewarding opportunity to foster a safe and healthy learning environment while sharpening your skills as a school nurse.
