Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) Tacoma, WA | Full-Time (Tues-Fri, 10-hour shifts) This is a rare opportunity to step into a rapidly developing field of mental health and pain treatment, play a meaningful leadership role in a growing organization, and directly influence patient outcomes in a way few clinical roles allow. Northwest Ketamine Clinics is seeking a skilled, compassionate ARNP (NP, FNP, PMHNP) who brings not only strong clinical expertise, but also the confidence and leadership experience to guide teams, support staff development, and help implement new programs and clinical services as we continue to expand. Who We Are Northwest Ketamine Clinics is the first and largest freestanding ketamine infusion clinic in the Pacific Northwest. We are a family-owned, nurse-practitioner-led organization built on the values of compassion, integrity, empathy, and clinical excellence. Ketamine infusion therapy has shown rapid and significant improvement for patients with Major Depression, PTSD, Chronic Pain, Anxiety, and other treatment-resistant conditions. As advocates for ARNP practice, we support full autonomy and encourage every team member to practice at the highest level of their license. As we grow, we are preparing to expand our services to include medication management, deprescribing, Spravato, TMS, and insurance-based care; making this an excellent opportunity for a provider who thrives in a dynamic, evolving clinical environment. The ARNP Role As part of the NWKC team, you'll combine clinical expertise with team leadership, patient advocacy, and forward-thinking collaboration. We are seeking a provider who not only delivers outstanding patient care but also has demonstrated experience leading clinical teams, including coaching, guiding, and supporting RN and LPN staff. You will play a key role in implementing new clinical offerings, participating in strategic planning, and contributing to continuous quality improvement. The ARNP will practice with a high level of autonomy while working collaboratively with the Clinical Director and Operations Manager. While administering ketamine infusions and supervising staff are core elements of the role, the heart of this position lies in building strong therapeutic relationships and supporting patients throughout their healing journey. Key Responsibilities Provide in-person and phone consultations to address patient questions Lead and support RNs and LPNs; serve as a clinical resource and mentor Insert IVs and administer infusions per protocol Administer Spravato treatments following protocol Monitor patients throughout treatment and ensure safety Complete accurate and timely charting Provide patient education and follow-up care Participate in implementing new clinical services and initiatives Assist with community outreach and patient engagement Maintain a safe, supportive, and compassionate treatment environment Conduct medical screenings, histories, and physicals Qualifications Active, unrestricted Washington State ARNP license (NP, FNP, MSN-FNP, PMHNP, or equivalent) 3-5 years of ARNP experience (mental health or pain management preferred) Leadership experience guiding clinical teams through change or new program implementation Strong IV skills (training available) High attention to detail and sound clinical judgment Demonstrated empathy and patient-centered communication CPR/BLS certification required ACLS certification required Exceptional interpersonal and patient service skills Compensation & Benefits Northwest Ketamine Clinics offers a competitive compensation package including: Paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays Medical, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with matching Education leave and annual education allowance Per diem / part-time / .75 FTE positions are paid hourly.
