A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Job Description
GENERAL STATEMENT OF POSITION
Under limited supervision, responsible for the nursing needs of residents, while actively incorporating our Philosophy for Person-Directed Care. Ensures a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors to participate in the resident's daily life rhythm. Supervises and coordinates nursing services, trains team members, accountable for the work unit's adherence to established policies and procedures, as well as maintaining medical records. Develops assignments in coordination with the care partners and supervises team members that are accountable for resident care and satisfaction.POSITION CLASSIFICATION

REQUIREMENTS
Education Completion of Accredited Licensed Nursing Program (RN) BS Degree, preferred or equivalent combination of education, training, and related professional experience Experience/Training Minimum of 1 year professional managerial experience in related field preferred Clinical observation and assessment skills Proficient computer skills necessary to complete documentation, review electronic health records and communicate with team members Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Current RN license What's in it for you?
