1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring

ACLS, NRP

certification, and a WA or compact RN license. Details Level 3 NICU facility supporting antepartum, laboring, and post-partum patients requiring higher-level care Unit averages about 200 deliveries per month 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week Every other weekend rotation as needed No mandatory call Floating to Mother Baby unit required Uses

Requirements Active WA or compact RN license BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required; ALSO certification preferred Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required Independent IV starts and lab draws from IV start Accurate vaginal exam skills Labor support experience Fetal monitor strip interpretation according to NICHD guidelines Strong multi-tasking and communication skills Comfortable asking questions and adapting quickly to a new unit Experience required to serve as 2nd RN in OR if assigned to that role Circulating duties only assigned if previous experience present Additional Information Travelers are not typically assigned to the triage role Scrubs provided in navy blue; must change into scrubs at the hospital Free parking available First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
