Job Description

Beloit Health System is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and patient-focused Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Gastroenterology (GI) team at Beloit Memorial Hospital. In this role, you will provide exceptional nursing care to patients with a variety of gastrointestinal conditions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality outcomes and an outstanding patient experience.

BMH Gastroenterology The Registered Nurse in Gastroenterology will: Provide patient and family education consistently and appropriately. Consistently identify patient/family learning needs and implements appropriate education utilizing written, and/or verbal, audiovisual material. Strictly abide with hospital infection control and patient safety policies and procedures. Consistently perform all basic skills required for nursing as described on unit-based. Appropriately assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the patient's plan of care. Interpret assessment data and develops an individualized plan of care which will lead to achievable patient outcomes.
Job Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program. ADN, BSN, or MSN accepted. Require WI Registered Nurse license at hire. (if multistate compact license, must get WI within 3 months). IL RN license within 3 months of hire. Must be CPR certified within 3 months of hire. ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire. Previous experience desired in surgical services or gastroenterology.
