Once Per Week and Every 4th Weekend About the Role MedOp Solutions is partnering with a community-based hospital in southeastern Wisconsin to hire an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative surgical environment supporting a wide variety of procedures while delivering exceptional perioperative patient care. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of recent Operating Room experience and be comfortable circulating a broad range of surgical specialties. While this facility's OR nurses primarily circulate, candidates with scrub experience are also welcomed. This assignment is an excellent opportunity for nurses who thrive in a team-oriented setting and enjoy caring for patients throughout the perioperative experience. Vaccination Required Unit Information 4 Operating Rooms Minimum of 2 Years of OR Experience Required First-Time Travelers Welcome Broad surgical case mix in a collaborative environment Patient Types & Surgical Specialties General Surgery Gynecology ENT Urology Orthopedics Podiatry Vascular Surgery Key Responsibilities Circulate surgical procedures while maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and supplies for scheduled procedures Ensure patient safety and adherence to sterile technique throughout surgery Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and perioperative staff Assist with patient positioning, surgical counts, and documentation Monitor patient status throughout surgical procedures Document perioperative care accurately using EPIC Participate in scheduled on-call coverage Qualifications Active Registered Nurse license Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room experience BLS certification required ACLS certification required PALS certification required Experience circulating a variety of surgical specialties Scrub experience is beneficial but not required Strong communication, organization, and critical thinking skillsTechnology & Equipment EMR:
