You will work in a team-oriented specialty hospital environment with low nurse/patient ratios. This role will work in various areas including PACU, Discharge, and Epidural/ hip injection suite. Maintains up to date and accurate documentation of nursing care provided to ensure the integration of information for use by the healthcare team, in order to ensure quality care. Maintains current knowledge, certification, and licensure. Pursues professional growth and development. Functions as a role model for current and new staff. Demonstrates leadership behaviors in a professional manner. Directs other licensed and non-licensed personnel in the provision of care to patients as assigned. Performs selected duties as delegated by the VP of Nursing or others in authority. Education Minimum:
Must possess a current (state) license as a Registered Nurse. A minimum of two years nursing experience. Current RN license Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification ACLS and PALS certifications required within 6 months of hire
