Core Responsibilities Clinical Leadership:
Act as a primary point of contact for residents and families, ensuring 5-star care standards.
Comprehensive Documentation:
Maintain accurate, timely, and clinical-grade documentation of assessments and interventions.
Order Oversight:
Efficiently transcribe physician orders to MARs and manage pharmacy notifications for adjusted treatments.
Medication Administration:
Safely prepare and administer medications and complex treatments as ordered.
Unit Management:
Supervise and mentor LPNs and CNAs, fostering a collaborative environment focused on resident dignity.
Interdisciplinary Collaboration:
Work with the Director of Nursing and therapy teams to update and implement individualized care plans.
Qualifications Licensure:
Must possess an active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Wisconsin.
Leadership Skills:
Proven ability to lead a team and remain calm under pressure.
Experience:
Long-term care or sub-acute experience is preferred, but we welcome all nurses passionate about geriatric care.
