Position Summary
SOME ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Safeguards the community by assessing individuals and families through interviews, observations, and examinations to prevent the spread of communicable diseases. Ensures access to and linkage with clinical care by providing multiple nursing services and education, including pregnancy tests, mental health injections, blood pressure checks, substance abuse support, Tuberculosis (TB) skin tests, immunizations and referral to other community resources. Promotes maternal child and family health by providing services to pregnant women and families with young children that promote healthy pregnancy and parenting, provide breastfeeding support and developmental screening and guidance. Prevents chronic disease and injuries through policy development, community education and collaboration. Safeguard the community by assessing environmental health hazards. Salary Information Starting pay is $32.59- $34.14/hour based on experience and qualifications. Qualifications Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from a college or university in nursing. CPR Certification State of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License Valid driver's license
Preferred Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from a college or university in nursing, plus two years of experience Experience with Communicable Disease control and prevention preferred.
