Job Summary:
Provides program and operational support to the Electrophysiology Program. Collaborates with Manager of E.P. in development and coordination of the Electrophysiology area. This individual will also function as a clinician up to 60% of the time providing specialized nursing care to inpatient and outpatients within the E.P. and Cardiac Catherization area(s) undergoing diagnostic and cardiac procedures. Assist in preparation for Joint Commission accreditation. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION
2 years of Cardiology experience with a focus on Electrophysiology and Cardiac Catheterization labs is required. Prior leadership experience is preferred.
EDUCATION DESCRIPTION
Degree in Nursing (Baccalaureate or Graduate) is required.
LICENSURE DESCRIPTION
Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse license or a Multi-state Nursing license from participating state in the NLC (Nurse licensure Compact). American Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Health Care provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required upon hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required within three months of hire.
