Job Description
Dialysis Registered Nurse Shift - 3- 12 hour shifts, 3am-3:30pm, Holiday rotation and occasional weekends Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dialysis Registered Nurse, where your expertise will directly impact patients' lives by providing exceptional renal care in a compassionate and professional environment. This vital role involves delivering high-quality dialysis treatments, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal health outcomes. Duties Administer dialysis treatments using advanced equipment while adhering to aseptic technique and safety protocols. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, laboratory data review, and physiological evaluations to determine treatment plans. Monitor patients closely during procedures, managing complications such as acute pain or airway issues promptly and effectively. Educate patients and their families on dialysis procedures, post-treatment care, and lifestyle modifications to promote long-term health management. Maintain accurate medical documentation within EHR systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans, including medication administration and IV infusion protocols. Perform specimen collection, processing, and laboratory testing as needed for diagnostic evaluation.
