What they do

A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Job Description

RN Long Term Care Start Date:
ASAP Contract Length:
13 weeks
Shift Requirements:
2p-10:30
PM Weekend/Holiday:
every other weekend and holidays
Float Requirements:
will be required to float to Short term, Long term, and CBRF Unit.
Minimum Experience:
2+ years previous experience SNF long term care experience
Required Certifications:
WI RN license,
AHA or ARC BLS Charting Experience:
ECS - not required, they will train.
Unit Specific Skillset:
Previous experience in a skilled nursing setting. Strong medication administration skills. 2
Units:
Unit 1 is 12 beds for short term residents (average census is 5-8) and 10 CBRF residents. Unit 2 is LTC with 20 beds. 3 aides and 2 nurses per shift (day and PM shift)
Scrubs:
Any scrubs. Must be clean and work appropriate.
Pay:
$2,100.00 - $2,200.00 per week
