Shifts Available:

Day & Night We are currently seeking experienced CVICU Registered Nurses for exciting contract opportunities in Milwaukee, WI . Both Day and Night shifts are available , giving qualified nurses the opportunity to select the shift that best fits their preference. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced critical care RN with strong cardiovascular ICU experience who is comfortable caring for highly complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular patients.

Available Shifts Day Shift:

7:00 AM-7:00

PM Night Shift:

7:00 PM-7:00 AM 12-hour shifts 36 hours/week Manager is open to 36

• or 48-hour contracts Every-other-weekend rotation No on-call requirement 1-2 holidays during the contract Experience Required Minimum 3 years of ICU experience At least 1 year of CVICU experience required First-time travelers are welcome if experience requirements are met EPIC experience required Strong cardiovascular critical care background Certifications Active RN license as required for the assignment BLS required ACLS required CCRN preferred CVICU Experience Candidates should be comfortable caring for patients including: Immediate post-op

CABG TAVR/TMVR

Valve repair and replacement Heart transplant patients Pacemakers

• epicardial and transvenous Fresh post-op thoracic surgery patients Esophagectomy, pneumonectomy and lobectomy AAA, TEVAR and carotid endarterectomy patients Required Clinical Skills Candidates should be comfortable with: Invasive hemodynamic monitoring, including Swan-Ganz and arterial lines Chest tube management Epicardial and transvenous pacemakers Inotropes and vasopressors Sedation and paralytic medications Ventilator and tracheostomy management Cardiac rhythm interpretation Complex cardiovascular critical care Experience with ECMO, CVVH/CRRT, IABP and VAD is highly preferred.

Patient Ratios 1:1 for higher-acuity patients 1:2 for standard ICU-level patients Up to 1:3 for mixed-status assignments Floating Candidates should be comfortable floating as needed to: Other ICUs, including Medical, Surgical, Cardiac and Neuro ICU ED Holding Medical-Surgical units with appropriate ratios PACU surge coverage Sitter assignments as needed Additional Details
