17 exam rooms and 4 bed obs unit

Post-surgical, CVA, Sepsis, Pneumonia, Trauma, etc. Trauma Level III, MI, Pediatrics, Obstetric emergencies

Patient Ratios:

1:4

Required Certifications:

BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS or

ENPC, TNCC

Skills required Airway management and RSI knowledge, cardiac drips, codes, CVA and STEMI management Support on the

Unit:

2 ED techs from 1100-2300, LPN 1500-0300 Charge nurse: Possible to carry patient load

VAT team during the day, US guided IV trained RNs in unit
