Full Job Description Senior Director of Operations Location:
Mount Pleasant, WI Salary:
$125,000-$160,000 + Annual Performance Incentive bonus target of 30 % of base salary with the potential to go as high as 50 % About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Senior Director of Operations to lead and strengthen a growing manufacturing operation. Reporting directly to the President and CEO, this leader will oversee production, quality, procurement, facilities, and manufacturing operations while developing department leaders and driving accountability across the organization. This is a hands-on leadership role within a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment where priorities and customer requirements can change quickly. The ideal candidate will bring strong manufacturing leadership experience and a proven ability to improve operational performance while building scalable processes and high-performing teams. Key Responsibilities Lead overall manufacturing operations, performance, and profitability. Develop, coach, and hold department leaders accountable for results. Oversee production planning, capacity, staffing, and resource allocation. Improve on-time delivery, productivity, labor efficiency, and schedule reliability. Drive continuous improvement while reducing scrap, rework, and operational waste. Oversee quality, procurement, supplier performance, inventory, facilities, and equipment readiness. Establish and manage operational KPIs and performance reporting. Partner with Sales, Engineering, and executive leadership to align operational priorities. Build processes and systems that support continued growth and scalability. Qualifications 8+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience. Experience leading operations in high-mix, low-volume, make-to-order, or custom manufacturing environments. Proven responsibility for multiple manufacturing functions and overall operational performance. Demonstrated success improving throughput, efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and accountability skills. Comfortable spending significant time on the production floor coaching leaders and driving results. What Success Looks Like Within the first 12-18 months, this leader will help create a more predictable and scalable operation through improved delivery performance, reduced waste and rework, stronger KPIs, and increased accountability among department leaders.
Pay:
$120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
