What they do
A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Job Description
Shift:
7:00 PM - 7:30AM Experience:
- 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
- 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience.
- 3 months of travel experience is preferred.
- 3 months of Epic experience is required with 3 months within the last 12 months.
- ADN completion required.
Requirements:
- Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).
- This role may require floating to additional units and locations
- COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
- No current placement allowed at
Program:
Staffency Program - ProHealth Care. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.Additional Details:
An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.Required Skills/Experience:
Experience with indwelling drain removal and PICC line care/dressing changes required.Preferred Skills/Experience:
At least 1 travel contract completed preferred.Unit Details:
Ortho/Neuro unit. Nurse-patient ratio 1:6, 1:7 after 2300.Shift & Scheduling:
Every other weekend. Holiday rotation. 2026 holidays: Memorial Day (NOC 5/24), Thanksgiving (NOC 11/25), Christmas Eve (NOC 12/24), New Year's Day (NOC 1/1). No call. Hours are not assured the week of orientation; weekly hours may vary during holidays when the unit is closed.Floating Requirements:
Candidate may float to Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital, Mukwonago, and other like units as needed. Floating is based on census; employee should not be asked to work outside clinical skills unless approved by employee, unit manager, shift advisor, and SimpliFi. 9 days maximum time off 1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years 1 Manager reference required from within the last 12 months Proof of identification requiredCertifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)
