A Cardiology Registered Nurse provides care for patients with heart problems. Performs cardiac tests and assessments, educates patients and families about cardiac disease and preventative health care, and cares for patients after heart surgery. Works with specialized monitoring and treatment equipment. Trained to provide emergency medical care to cardiac patients. Works under the supervision of a physician. Works in hospital cardiology or intensive care units or cardiac rehabilitation programs.

The Clinic Nurse - Research coordinates and supports clinical research studies by screening and enrolling participants, obtaining informed consent, collecting and documenting study data, administering study-related procedures, and ensuring compliance with research protocols and regulatory requirements. Serves as a liaison between patients, providers, sponsors, and research teams while promoting participant safety and data integrity. Experience/Qualifications Associate degree in nursing required. Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred. Certification in specialty desired. Minimum of one year practicing as a RN preferred. Possesses an active Wisconsin RN nursing license. Possesses an active Michigan RN nursing license with 3 months of hire date. Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days of hire - All clinical personnel in identified job codes are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) training through independent study, manikin, and knowledge testing.
