Join our Encapsulation Team and be part of a close‑knit, production‑focused group dedicated to producing high‑quality capsules safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with GMP standards. Our team includes Encapsulation Operators and a Lead or Senior Operator, and we work closely with Supervision, Quality, and Maintenance to support Novonesis' purpose through reliable and consistent production. The Role & Your Impact As an Encapsulation Operator , you play a key operational role in ensuring capsules are produced safely, accurately, and to specification. Your work directly impacts product quality, regulatory compliance, and overall production efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
Operating encapsulation equipment in accordance with approved SOPs Monitoring production processes to ensure consistent quality and GMP compliance Accurately documenting production activities in the production journal Identifying and communicating process or equipment issues to the team Supporting safe, efficient, and compliant daily operations What You'll Need to Be Successful Ability to read, write, and speak English Ability to read and follow a production journal to produce batches accurately Ability to use basic hand tools (e.g., hammer, screwdriver, wrench) for equipment assembly and disassembly Ability to communicate effectively with co‑workers regarding production status Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts, including metric weight and volume conversions Experience with Lock Out Tag Out procedures Additional Skills & Interests We Value Previous experience in a GMP‑regulated manufacturing or production environment Willingness to learn new processes and equipment Comfort working in a team‑based production setting What We Offer A stable, hands‑on role in a collaborative production environment Opportunities to learn, grow, and develop within manufacturing operations Support from experienced colleagues across Production, Quality, and Maintenance A workplace culture focused on safety, quality, and teamwork Ways of Working / Working Conditions Work location: On‑site Work hours: Fri-Sun 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM Physical requirements: Standing for most of the workday Work environment: Powdery materials, machine and air noise Temperature‑controlled production area Compensation & Benefits Expected base salary: $25 per hour plus shift premium 401(k) with up to a 9% company contribution Minimum of 3 weeks of vacation plus 12 holidays and 2 weeks of Wellness Time Health, Dental, Vision & Life insurance Healthcare savings account option Employee assistance program Parental leave Tuition reimbursement All benefits begin on your first day Relevant information Application deadline: 9/25/26 Our purpose guides the way In Novonesis, we know that solutions rooted in biology can help solve humanity's biggest challenges.
