Registered Nurse (RN) Celestial Care - 4.0 Wauwatosa, WI Job Details Full-time $25 - $28 a week 2 hours ago Qualifications RN License Professional ethics English Full Job Description Registered nurses (RNs) work to promote good health and prevent illness. They educate patients and the public about various medical conditions; treat patients and help in their rehabilitation; and provide advice and emotional support to patients' families. RNs use considerable judgment in providing a wide variety of services. They focus on the overall care of patients. Duties RNs are expected to perform their job duties according to the State Nursing Practice Act while upholding the utmost ethical and safe techniques always keeping the care of the patient as your top priority. Job duties can include but are not limited to the following: 1. Perform all nursing duties in accordance with the state Nursing Act specific to the state you are working in, while adhering to all facility policies and procedures. 2. Assesses client's condition, initiates plan of care, re-evaluates and updates as necessary. 3. Monitor patient progress and identifies any changes in status, acting on those changes to insure patient comfort and safety. 4. Assist physicians and all healthcare professionals caring for patient, always giving a complete and thorough report on patient status at end of shift/assignment. 5. Perform routine nursing care to assigned patients, while utilizing age specific and universal precaution practices at all times. 6. Actively demonstrate a working knowledge of nursing theory, techniques, principles, and practice in order to holistically care for the patient. 7. Communicate with all staff, patients, and families with excellent written and verbal skills. 8. Comply with all facility policy and procedure, while upholding the high expectations of Celestial Care. 9. Supervises caregiver and client at least every 60 days or more as necessary to provide the best quality care to the client. 10. Willing to travel to preform duties at client residences. General Requirements 1. Must have an A.D.N. or B.S.N. from accredited College of Nursing, accompanied by current nursing license in each state of desired practice. 2. One year of full-time clinical practice in each specialty area. 4. Current TB test 5. Must possess compassionate, professional, and ethical behavior. 6. Must have good communication skills and be able to read, write and speak English. 7. Must have available reliable transportation to and from assignments. 8. Must fulfill yearly OSHA training requirements. 9. Must have good personal hygiene and organizational habits.
