Job Description
Job Overview Registered Nurse (RN) 13 week contract. 12 hour days or nights available. 36 hours/week. Rotating weekends. Corrections. $45/hour blended rate, weekly pay. 1 year of RN (Licensed Practical Nurse) experience required. ASAP start for qualified RN. Responsibilities Perform accurate patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation. Administer medications and injections following prescribed protocols Monitor patients for acute pain management needs and respond promptly to emergent health concerns. Provide patient education on health conditions, medication administration, and self-care strategies tailored to correctional populations. Support discharge planning and coordinate with healthcare providers for ongoing treatment needs. Ensure compliance with correctional health regulations, HIPAA privacy standards, and long-term care policies.
