Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered or Licensed Nurse to provide comprehensive home care services to a patient in his home. This role involves delivering high-quality nursing care directly in the home, ensuring safety, comfort, and optimal health outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and evaluation of medical conditions. Develop and implement personalized care plans aligned with physicians' orders and patient needs. Administer medications adhering to safety protocols and documentation standards. Monitor patient progress and adjust care strategies accordingly; communicate findings effectively to healthcare team. Ensure infection control practices are strictly followed to safeguard patient health. Assist with triage duties by evaluating urgent needs and prioritizing care interventions appropriately. Skills Valid licensure as a registered or licensed nurse with current certification in basic life support (BLS) and CPR. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, pharmacology related to medication administration and pain management. Familiarity with advanced clinical procedures including sterile techniques and catheter care. Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and interpret diagnostic evaluations accurately. Critical thinking skills necessary for acute pain management. Experience working with spinal cord injuries is advantageous.
