Job Description

RN - Med/Surg/ICU Evanston Regional Hospital is a designated critical access hospital serving Uinta County. Our 42-bed facility offers both inpatient and outpatient care providing valuable resources to local communities, job opportunities, and quality care close to home. to learn more and join our team!
Position Details:
Full Time 12 hour shifts 36 hours per week
Job Summary:
The Med/Surg Nurse is responsible for working closely with physicians and other members of the health care team to assess patients' problems quickly, monitor and record symptoms and changes in patients' conditions, and consult and coordinate with health care team regarding patient care plans. Nurse will use advanced skills to evaluate assigned patients who are critically ill and at a high risk for life-threatening health problems and perform various patient tests and administer medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promote patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Perform a variety of tasks.
Qualifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) who has successfully graduated from an accredited School of Nursing. Current license to practice in the state of Wyoming. Must have current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications or be willing to become licensed within 6 months of hire. New grads welcome for Med/Surg positions. 36 Hours per week, 12 hour shifts, days & nights.
