SageWest Health Care is located in Fremont County, Wyoming, encompassing two hospitals, one in Riverton and one in Lander. Each offers a wide range of healthcare services, including inpatient medical services, emergency room services, surgical services, imaging services, laboratory diagnostic services, primary care, infusion services, and women's health.

PRN Hours:

8:00am - 5:00pm Registered Nurse (RN)

ENT Clinic Position Summary:

Provides professional nursing care to patients in the clinic/outpatient setting in compliance with professional practice standards.



Promotes a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach towards patients, families, and all members of the care delivery team.



The position is essential for the functioning of the SageWest Medical Group.



The workload is generated by the number of patients the provider encounters each day.

Primary Duties:

The following duties ARE NOT intended to serve as a comprehensive list of all duties performed by all employees in the classification. Support administration in the development and implementation of the hospital's mission, vision and overall goals. Monitor human resource processes related to the emergency department to ensure efficient and effective patient care. This includes the hiring process, and effective department orientation program, providing ongoing educational opportunities, honest performance evaluations, counseling when indi-cated, and termination when needed. Provide strong leadership for the department by establishing high standards, leading by example, re-warding good behavior, and holding department accountable when they fail to meet the needs and ex-pectations of the hospital. Communicate departmental and hospital-wide issues in a timely and effective manner to all depart-mental staff using multiple communication mediums. This includes monthly departmental meetings, memos, e-mails, phone calls, and on-on-one training. Use Performance Improvement monitoring, data collection, incident reporting, and other tools to iden-tify patient care problems and take corrective action. Actions may include investigating problems, im-proving processes, clarifying procedures, and educating the staff to ensure the problems are resolved. Facilitate the development of the annual department budget, three-year capital equipment estimates, and strategic planning goals. Develop policies and procedures that clearly define the operational and interdepartmental guidelines of the department. Manage equipment and supplies to make sure the department has the tools needed to provide patient care and to ensure resources are used wisely. Advocate and ensure participation in interdepartmental activities, focusing on process improvements and achieving hospital-wide goals, by participating in appropriate committees.

Evaluate timecards bi-weekly and departmental operations monthly for adherence to administrative, budgetary, and strategic planning goals. Qualifications Minimum Requirements Required to maintain a current Registered Nurse license in Wyoming.

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient's needs.

Current BLS on first day or to be assigned by the Learning Center
