About the role Credible Staffing is building a team of RNs to provide on-site nursing care to Veterans at the Sheridan VA Medical Center. We're hiring 4 inpatient RNs and 2 outpatient RNs , plus a backup pool of RNs for continuous coverage. What you'll do Assess patients, plan and prioritize care, document it in the VA electronic health record, and evaluate outcomes Administer medications and IV therapy, and delegate to assistive personnel Coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, and handle admissions, discharges, and internal and external transfers Respond to emergencies, including cardiac monitoring and use of emergency equipment Teach patients and families about medications and treatments Join monthly unit quality improvement and staff meetings Inpatient units: medical/telemetry, inpatient mental health (including recovery-based therapeutic programming), and the Community Living Center. swabbing. Requirements Graduate of an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program Current, active RN license in at least one U.S. state, territory, or D.C. Current BLS and CPR from an American Heart Association provider; ACLS required for specialty clinic assignments At least 1 year of direct patient care within the last 3 years (VA experience is a plus) Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing, and understanding) Able to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Shifts are mostly 12 hours, with some 8-hour shifts.

Pay:

$42.48 - $43.36 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
