Job Description
Busy specialty office is seeking a full-time Front Office Coordinator . This role is the main point of contact for our patients at this location. Successful candidate will be someone who enjoys working with people, is able to multitask and independently manage competing priorities while maintaining organization and positive attitude in a busy environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Answer multi-line phone in a positive, polite and professional manner Schedule patients for consultations, sleep studies, DME services and follow up appointments according to care plan Confirm patient appointments, ensure patient instructions are provided and required documentation is completed Check patients in/out, assist walk-ins. Dispense home sleep testing equipment and educate patients on equipment use. Clean and sanitize equipment after each use. Review clinical documentation, request clinical records and lab results from other facilities. Send clinical updates to referring providers and referrals to other specialties and DME vendors. Process requests for medical records. Process incoming faxes, including referrals, clinical updates and requests for medical records Dispense durable medical equipment, corresponding supplies and accessories and complete relevant documentation. Collect and record patient payments with accuracy. Maintain orderly and clean the office space, prepare patient areas and bedrooms. Provide a positive customer service experience when interacting with external and internal parties. Complete data entry in relevant systems. Perform routine clerical tasks, including retrieving charts, clearing voicemail and fax messages.
