A Registrar or Patient Service Representative provides direct assistance to patients at a health care or long term care facility. Answers questions and helps resolve complaints; provides liaison with health care providers; may assist with coordinating appointments or addressing billing or insurance issues.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Possess a current Alabama State Registered Nurses License. Current CPR certification. ACLS certification preferred.

Skill in writing and maintaining records and reports. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, families, physicians, employees, and staff. Ability to communicate clearly. Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions in order to maintain a safe working environment. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Knowledge of the organization�s policies and procedures.
