About the
Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Insurance Patient Account Rep to join our team at UH Newport Clinics. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patient accounts, ensuring timely and accurate billing, and resolving any issues related to insurance claims. As an integral member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health of our clinic.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of experience in medical billing and insurance claims Knowledge of medical terminology and coding Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems
Responsibilities:
Manage patient accounts and ensure timely and accurate billing Resolve any issues related to insurance claims Communicate with patients and insurance companies to obtain necessary information Maintain accurate records of patient accounts and billing information Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure the financial health of the clinic
Skills:
The successful candidate will utilize their strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently to manage patient accounts and ensure timely and accurate billing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record systems is required. Knowledge of medical terminology and coding is essential to the role. The ability to collaborate effectively with other members of the healthcare team is also critical to ensuring the financial health of the clinic.
