Scholarship Opportunities Duties:
- Supervise and review the collection of admission documents, ensure completion and forward to the appropriate departments as necessary
- Supervise or perform interviews of residents/guardians and obtain required information and signatures
- Assist in the orientation program for residents/personnel
- Maintain an accurate record of available beds
- Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-department personnel, as well as other departments within the facility
- Maintain a resident waiting list in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Keep current on Medicare/Medicaid provider regulations for skilled nursing facilities
- Maintain daily and monthly census report as directed
Qualifications:
- Admissions experience in a healthcare facility required
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and part of an interdisciplinary team
- Positive attitude and driven by desire to serve others
