About the Role We are looking for a Full Time MRI Authorization Coordinator to join our team What You'll Do Processing diagnostic test and procedure orders from Physicians and PAs Scheduling follow-up appointments and counseling patients about their financial responsibility Acting as a liaison between physician, patient, insurance carrier, and facility Obtaining pre-certification/pre-authorization from insurance companies prior for each procedure and test, using an online application or by contacting insurer on the telephone Additional duties as assigned
