Full Job Description Job Summary:
This is an entry level job in the medical field. This individual is responsible for scheduling patients for their follow up appointments, checking in with patients about wait times, creating a comfortable, friendly rapport while interacting with them, quickly cleaning rooms after each patient, and for assisting patients in a myriad of tasks through the building. They will also be responsible for scanning health records into our electronic system.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bilingual preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • The ability to be assertive and confident when talking with patients.
  • Able to work as a team player.
  • Composure under pressure.
  • Respectful treatment of patients and co-workers.
  • The flexibility to go from one task to another when asked.
  • Attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Scheduling patients after their visit
  • Maintaining accurate medical records
  • Ensures patients are kept aware of wait times and potential delays
  • Cleans/sanitizes rooms as patients leave
  • Walks patients from one area of the building to another
  • Assists patients with electronic check in process
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$17.50 - $18.50 per hour
