Dental Patient Coordinator Greenhills Dental Care, dental office of Dr. Shirley H. Bien, is a state of the art practice delivering the very best care and customer service to patients of all ages. We are currently looking to fill a full-time position for our front desk. We are seeking someone who is self-motivated, takes initiative, has confidence and integrity, has the ability to communicate well with patients and other team members. What You'll Be Responsible For As our Dental Patient Coordinator, you will manage daily patient flow and ensure the schedule stays organized and productive.
Daily Responsibilities:
Greet patients warmly and professionally Answer phones and respond to inquiries Schedule and confirm appointments Verify dental insurance benefits Check patients in and out efficiently Collect co-pays and balances Present basic treatment estimates (training provided if needed) Maintain accurate patient records Follow up on unscheduled treatment Assist with recall and reactivation efforts Keep the front desk organized and running smoothly Support the Office Manager with administrative tasks You will play a direct role in patient retention, schedule efficiency, and overall office energy. What We're Looking For Has dental front desk experience (at least 2 years preferred) Understands dental insurance and basic billing (preferred) Is friendly, confident, and professional Is highly organized and detail-oriented Can multitask without feeling overwhelmed Communicates clearly and warmly Is dependable and punctual Thrives in a team environment Takes initiative and doesn't wait to be told what to do Is tech savvy and comfortable with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, etc.) Bilingual, Spanish is a plus! If you don't know everything but are willing to learn quickly and take ownership, we value that.
