Job Description

Overview:
Home Health Agency seeking responsible, detail-oriented, problem solving team player. The intake coordinator is responsible for managing new patient referrals, coordinating admissions, verifying insurance eligibility, and ensuring timely communication. The ideal candidate is organized, professional and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Process and Coordinate new patient referrals
  • Verify insurance eligibility and authorizations
  • Communicate with physicians, hospitals, and referral sources
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Follow up on missing documents and physician orders
  • Prepare payroll
  • Prepare and send for billing
