13 Weeks Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant / Patient Services Representative (PSR) for an outpatient clinic assignment in Tarzana, California. This hybrid front-office and clinical support role is ideal for candidates with strong patient service skills, outpatient clinic experience, and the flexibility to assist with both administrative and clinical responsibilities. The primary responsibility of this role is front-end PSR duties, while also providing coverage for MA/LVN breaks as needed. Key Responsibilities Front Office / PSR Duties Patient check-in and registration Insurance verification and eligibility confirmation Scheduling appointments and managing patient flow Processing referrals and authorizations Providing excellent customer service to patients and visitors Managing phone calls and front desk operations Clinical Support Duties Cover MA/LVN breaks as needed Perform blood draws and venipuncture Assist with patient intake and rooming Obtain and document vital signs Support providers with outpatient clinical workflow Maintain patient confidentiality and infection prevention standards Requirements Minimum 2 years of outpatient clinic experience required Experience in Urology or Women's Health required Medical Assistant Diploma from a DAPIP-accredited program required High School Diploma or GED required Current BLS Certification required (AHA or ARC only) Required Skills Venipuncture and blood/lab draw proficiency Patient check-in and registration Insurance verification Referral coordination Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced outpatient environment For more details reach at or Call / Text at 732 791 4807 - EXT 4807 .
