Job Overview Workplace Justice Advocates, PLC is a plaintiff-side employment law firm in Irvine. We represent employees in wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and whistleblower matters. Our clients come to us during difficult moments in their working lives, and the person who answers the phone is often the first reason they decide to trust us. Duties Answer incoming calls and respond to web and email inquiries from prospective clients Conduct initial intake interviews, gather key facts and dates, and accurately record them in our case management system Screen inquiries against firm criteria and route them to the appropriate attorney Send and track engagement agreements, intake forms, and document requests Maintain client files, scan and organize documents, and keep records current Schedule consultations, meetings, and calendar deadlines Provide general administrative support: mail, filing, supplies, and office upkeep What We're Looking For Excellent phone manner and clear, professional written communication Strong attention to detail — dates, names, and spelling matter in this work Comfort speaking with people who may be upset, and the discretion to keep what they share confidential Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office, Adobe, email) Ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a small-office environment Prior experience in a law office, medical office, or other intake or customer-facing role is a plus, but not required
Pay:
$25.77 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 per week
