Our network includes over 250+ physicians in over 100+ clinics throughout the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas. We are seeking a Front Desk Clerk to support our busy clinical office in Lakewood, CA .
Job Type:
Full-Time, Direct Hire Hours:
Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:30pm
Pay:
$23-25/hr
Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients Verify insurance coverage and demographic information Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR system Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments and follow-up visits Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries Route messages to appropriate staff members Collect co-pays and patient balances Process patient payments accurately Assist with referrals, prior authorizations, and medical records requests Monitor patient flow and communicate wait times professionally Complete daily administrative tasks, including scanning, filing, and stocking front desk supplies
Qualifications and Skills:
At least 2 years of front office experience in a clinical healthcare setting Bilingual, required Ability to work effectively with a diverse patient population Organized and patient-focused Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative clinical environment ProHealth Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer 9.4 DH
