Patient Care Coordinator/ Front Desk Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Patient Care Coordinator/ Front Desk to join our dental surgery center. The Patient Care Coordinator/ Front Desk will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors, managing patient scheduling and registration, and performing various administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the dental surgery center.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients and providers Schedule patient appointments and coordinate with dental staff to ensure availability Verify patient insurance information and collect copays and payments as needed Manage patient registration and check-in processes Update patient information in the electronic health record system Maintain a clean and organized front desk area Assist with billing and insurance claim processes as needed Handle patient complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner Provide support to other administrative staff and dental providers as needed
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent At least 1 year of experience in a customer service or receptionist role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic health record systems Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures preferred Ability to maintain patient confidentiality We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional development and advancement.
