Full-time Patient Service Representative Location:
Los Angeles, CA 90048
Pay:
$25/hour
Schedule:
8-hour shift scheduled between 6:00 AM•6:00 PM Requirements High School Diploma or GED 1+ year of recent experience in an outpatient clinic or medical office Experience with medical insurance, referrals, and benefit plans Ability to understand and follow detailed oral and written instructions
Preferred:
2+ years of Patient Service Representative experience

CS-Link/Epic experience
Preferred:
Knowledge of medical terminology Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for patients in person and by phone Greet patients, address concerns, and escalate issues when appropriate Check patients in/out and collect co-payments Verify patient demographics and insurance information Schedule appointments and complete patient registration Process and track referrals and insurance authorizations Handle patient and provider correspondence Explain policies, procedures, and services to patients Sanitize the workspace according to department guidelines Perform other duties as assigned
Pay:
$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
