• 5:00 PM) About the Role Must type 90+ WPM.

Join a medical team as a Scribe, accompanying physicians during patient encounters and accurately transcribing clinical documentation in real time. Job Duties Accompany physician during patient encounter Transcribe the physician dictated patient history Transcribe physical examination findings and procedures performed by the physician Transcribe results of laboratory and radiographic studies Transcribe patient education and explanation of risks and benefits for procedures performed by the physician Transcribe pending orders for referrals, tests, medications, and procedures as dictated by physician Transcribe proper diagnoses, symptoms, follow-up instructions, and prescription information as directed Prepare and edit scribed documents for physician review and signature Required Qualifications 6+ months of experience as a Medical Scribe Computer proficiency and ability to learn new applications quickly Proficiency in written communication, including spelling, punctuation, and grammar Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, diagnostic procedures, pharmacology, and treatment assessment sufficient to accurately transcribe physician encounters Must type 90+ WPM Preferred Qualifications College education in a related area of study Experience with CS Link/Epic Compensation Highlights $956 Weekly Gross $0 Weekly Tax-Free Stipends $23.90/hr Taxable Rate $23.90/hr Blended Rate Pay rates and estimates are subject to change and are not guaranteed.
