Full-Time Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Outreach Coordinator to join our Housing Navigation team. This position serves as the first point of contact for members referred to our program and plays a critical role in ensuring timely outreach, insurance eligibility verification, and accurate documentation. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, strong computer proficiency, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while making a positive impact in the community. Key Responsibilities Verify member insurance eligibility and benefits using payer portals and eligibility systems. Complete first-contact screenings to our members through both manual calls and an automated dialer system. Accurately document all member interactions and outreach attempts in company systems. Create, update, and maintain spreadsheets used to track referrals, outreach efforts, authorizations, and productivity. Upload and organize documentation into electronic records and databases. Monitor referrals to ensure timely outreach and follow-up in accordance with program requirements. Collaborate with Housing Navigators and medical providers. Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. Meet productivity and quality standards while providing exceptional customer service. Perform additional administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred. Minimum of 1 year of phone customer service or call center experience. Experience working in a medical office, healthcare, insurance, or social services setting is highly preferred.  Experience verifying insurance eligibility is a plus. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Google Workspace preferred. Ability to create and maintain spreadsheets and accurately enter data. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Professional telephone etiquette and active listening skills. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
