Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and families with kindness, patience, and professionalism
• Collect, verify, and document patient, medical, insurance, and eligibility information
• Coordinate with providers, insurers, and care teams for timely, compassionate admissions
• Answer calls, explain services, schedule appointments, and keep records organized
• Protect confidential patient information in compliance with HIPAA Qualifications
• Healthcare or medical office experience, preferably in hospice or palliative care
• Comfort using Microsoft Office, EHR, and patient management systems
• Knowledge of health regulations, insurance procedures, and medical terminology
• Strong phone, customer service, organization, typing, and multitasking skills
• Respectful handling of confidential patient information; bilingual Spanish preferred Be part of a caring hospice team dedicated to bringing comfort, dignity, and support to patients and families.
