Work Environment This position is specifically onsite at our outpatient office, where you will collaborate closely with two other experienced physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA). The work environment is supportive and encourages teamwork, allowing for knowledge sharing and collaborative treatment approaches. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a stable work-life balance while allowing for intensive patient care. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to identify their specific rehabilitation needs. Develop customized care plans that incorporate a variety of effective treatment techniques, ensuring to meet each patient's specific requirements. Maintain a steady patient load, typically one patient per hour, allowing you to provide focused and personalized care. Utilize strong manual therapy skills to enhance treatment efficacy and minimize patient reliance on medications. Implement cost-effective strategies for improving patients' motion and mobility while offering non-surgical alternatives where applicable. Document all aspects of patient care meticulously, including treatment provided and patients' progress, using electronic medical record (EMR) software such as WebPT. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care. Evaluate treatment effects regularly and adjust care plans accordingly to maximize patient outcomes. Motivate and guide patients throughout their treatment journey to encourage consistent participation and progress. Promote a healthy lifestyle for patients through education on strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination. Patient Population / Client Focus Our patient clientele primarily consists of individuals covered by private medical insurance, seeking treatments related to orthopedic conditions and sports-related injuries. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of patients ranging from post-operative recovery to preventive maintenance, enabling a hands-on approach that fosters lasting relationships. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy with a focus on orthopedic care. Valid physical therapist license in the state of California with no board actions or disciplinary history. Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and developing targeted exercise regimens. Experience working with EMR systems, specifically WebPT or similar software. A demonstrated commitment to continuing education in the field of physical therapy. Preferred Experience We are looking for candidates with at least two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting. Familiarity with evidence-based practices and an ability to employ innovative treatment strategies will set you apart as an ideal candidate. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this full-time position ranges from
USD 100,000
to 120,000 per year, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.
